I know I've been MIA on all social media outlets for a while. Just needed a break from all the nonsense on social media, and take care of a health issue. I just got back from the VA from having an abscess lanced and drained. Dr told me I'm lucky I got in when I did because the abscess was on the verge of rupturing, and if it did rupture it would have dumped a lethal level of toxins into my bloodstream and I could have been dead in an hour or two if it went untreated. The Dr said it doesn't look like cancer, but took a culture sample just to be sure. I can still feel the abscess and don't think he got it all. I go back Monday for a follow up. If can still feel the abscess by Monday I'm going request to be transported to the actual VA Hospital, and let them knock me out to get it all out. The needle the Dr stuck in it to numb the area was like a pain I've never experienced before. It was worse than getting shot
Holy Fucking Shit let me tell y'all what just happened. So I'm sitting on the curb waiting for the bus so I can get to work, and I see a black couple walking towards where I was sitting, and the woman stepped on a firecracker that was laying on the ground. Mind you I'm watching them them as they approach. Well when the firecracker went off the guy was reaching into his waistband and pulling a pistol. Granted I've been trained to disarm someone, but in reality I don't think I would have had enough time to get up from a sitting position and close the 5-6 meter distance before I got capped. Luckily for me they passed by me without incident. As I'm sitting there going over in my mind what could have happened. I see the bus at the red light waiting to make the turn to where the bus stop is where I'm waiting a car pulled up next to another car and took 2 shots at it. 5he passenger in the car that was being shot at jumped out and fired 4 shots at the car that initiated the shooting then both cars sped off in different directions. Luckily for me I was about 20 meters behind where the shooting took place. It doesn't appear that anymore was hit, but I'm not 100% certain if anyone was hit or not. And here I'm unarmed all because no weapons are allowed on the bus, I was heading to work and no firearms are allowed there either. Talking about the ole PTSD kicking in. Things could have gotten really bad really fast. I'm glad that it didn't
